When you timestamp a move, you turn intention into a contract with reality.

The structure

  • What: the smallest meaningful action
  • When: a specific time window (today)
  • Where: the exact location/context
  • How: the first 10 seconds (the starter step)

Example

  • What: complete the smallest real action (not planning)
  • When: a 12-minute block today (pick a time)
  • Where: the exact place you’ll do it (desk / phone / gym / kitchen)
  • How: define the first 10 seconds (open the doc, start the timer, do step 1)
